If they would just do some remodeling, they would pack the place. We have over 250 different items on the bar. I would give the food a B+ and the facility a C. I never did find the hot mustard, and the sauces should be marked, making it easier to identify them. Mind you, you don't go to a buffet, to get gourmet items, but I'm glad I went there. Plenty of desert items choices, including fruit, cookies, cakes, and ice cream choices. We didn't try the grill, but I did check out the options, The trays were all full, and looked fresh. I don't like a lot of salt in my food, and found nothing, in my opinion, that was over seasoned. We both tried various food choices, and found nothing we didn't like. Plenty of choices Heaping peel and eat shrimp. The items I tried were hot and the cold items were chilled. Just about every tray on the buffet was full, and the food looked fresh. No plastic utensils, as reported on a previous review. One didn't work at all, and the other worked briefly, after waving my hands under it, until I finally found a spot to get it to turn on. No paper towel machines, but two hand dryers. The men's room was in sad shape, but was clean enough. The place was in need of a major renovation, but was as clean as it could be with years old, and work decor. First, I agree with some of the negatives. I am disgusted, disappointed, and disheartened.Īfter reading some of the negative reviews, at first, I was reluctant to try the Flaming Grill. They were comfortable telling me in no uncertain terms that they charge children extra if they are tall. They did not question her age or ask to see verification. Again, just to be clear, my daughter was charged extra for being tall. I asked if I would have to pay more for being tall and they said that only tall children are charged extra. When I pointed out that I am seven feet tall and that she got her height from me, they acknowledged and confirmed that tall children would be charged more. When we asked for an adult meal and a child’s meal, they told my daughter that “she is too tall to receive the children’s price.” Not that she was too old, but that any child over a certain height would be charged more. I am 7’ and she is in the 150th for percentile at her age. Some context: my toddler and I are both extremely tall. My daughter and I were very excited to eat here but left immediately when we were openly and unabashedly discriminated against by the staff. ![]()
